Chennai Super Kings had a big target of 230 runs to chase, and the innings began in the worst possible manner. Yes, Mohammed Siraj took 4 wickets and after taking the very first ball of the innings right there, well who then comes to you as a batsman then? Losing their first wicket so soon put Chennai Super Kings on the backfoot.
Siraj maintained the pressure and broke open captain Ruturaj Gaikwad, as well as wicketkeeper supporter Urvil Patel, in rapid succession. The Super Kings lost three wickets in the first three overs and collapsed from there.
